Sometimes, you want to experience the more rustic, more authentic version of camping, but aren't quite ready to go at it alone. Our amenities are here to support your backcountry camping dreams by sprinkling in a few creature comforts and a whole lot of peace of mind.
Situated on a stretch of the Petitcodiac River, our campers get to not only enjoy the cleanest water of the entire river, but also get to savour the incredible views that are sure to soothe the soul.
The river is perfect for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing for those who are licensed and many other water activities to enjoy on your hot summer days.
Please keep in mind that glass bottles are prohibited in the park, especially near or in the river. Check our Rules and Regulations for more details.
The running water in our bathrooms and water hookups is potable water. This means our guests are free to use this water to prepare food, drink, shower and brush their teeth.
Please note that this does not include the river water. Ingesting the river water is done at your own risk.
Let us start off by saying that we aim to have the cleanest washrooms and showers this side of the Atlantic accessible to all our guests. Fitted for wheelchair accessibility, with a private washroom and separate shower room available, every Riverbend camper can feel a little more at home with bathrooms that meet their standards of "clean".
Forgot a few basic camping must haves? No problem! We have a small convenience store with fresh ice, other basic food items and camping supplies. We accept cash, debit and credit cards as methods of payment, in-store.
Here you'll find a small selection of pop and chocolates, chips, energy bars, granola bars and food items like dried instant soups (hot water required).
We also carry Fly Dope insect repellent, laundry detergent, fire starters, freezies, basic personal hygiene products as well as some feminine hygiene products.
We know how convenient having access to a laundromat on a camping trip can be. You’ll be happy to know we’ve got you covered. Located inside our convenience store, you’ll find a coin activated washer dryer combo for you to use to your benefit.
The washer is free to use and the dryer is $5.00 per load.
As a new campground, we don’t yet have full-service sites that include individual sewage hookups for RVs or a central sewage dumping station for you to use during your stay, however, we do provide a paid on-site sewage extraction service for those looking to empty their black water tanks.
Our mobile extraction tank will hold up to 50 Liters at a time. Each extraction of 50L or less cost $10.00 per extraction.
We know how important your furry family members are to you, and we’re glad to say that they’re totally welcomed to join you on your riverside visit. We just ask that they are kept on a leash while in the park’s boundaries. Check our Rules and Regulations for more details.
So you’re at the end of your stay with us and you have recyclables you’d like to get rid of? Consider donating them to the park! We’ll gladly take them off your hands and reinvest any funds redeemed into future park improvements.
*Please note that we are not a redemption center. We only accept recyclable donations.
