About Us
Riverbend Wilderness Camping sit’s on a 1500 ft stretch along the Petitcodiac River. It has been our family’s backcountry paradise for the past 30 years. In 2019, we decided to open our doors and let other backcountry campers enjoy its beauty and tranquillity alongside us.
Bring your loved ones and enjoy the mature forest of this historical land, walking and hiking through the kilometres of private paths. We’re the Sellars family and this slice of New Brunswick wilderness - with its beautiful forest and river - it has been the balm to our souls in the midst of our bustling work and family lives. From our annual friends and family ‘fiddlehead picking’ tradition to snowshoeing through the snow-laden landscape, or simply enjoying the bountiful colour changes of the fall, we’d like to share the joy of our peaceful oasis with you.
Our goal with Riverbend Wilderness Camping is to, first and foremost, provide safe and accessible backcountry camping, for both locals and tourists alike, in an exceptional area along New Brunswick’s Petitcodiac River.
We aim to provide nature lovers with campsites that offer both seclusion and privacy, as well as offer services and facilities that are only available in the country’s best National Parks.
